Steps to set-up the CV e-mail signature:
1. Depending on whether your office is in Meyrin site or Prévessin site, open the corresponding e-mail:
EN-CV_Prevessin_signature.msg |
EN-CV_Meyrin_signature.msg |
2. Select all the contents in the email (Ctrl+A for “Select All”).
3. Right-click on the selected text and choose “Copy”, or use Ctrl+C.
4. Close the email.
5. Click on “File” in the top-left corner in Outlook.
6. Select “Options” at the bottom-left corner.
7. Select the “Mail” options. Verify that the “Compose messages in this format:” field is set to “HTML”, then click on “Signatures…”.
8. Create a “New” signature and give it a relevant name. Click “OK”.
9. Click on the “Edit signature” text box.
If you wish to insert additional information, such as “Best regards + your name”, do so now before pasting the signature. Make sure to press “Enter” afterwards to make a space with the signature.
IMPORTANT: right click in the “Edit signature” text box, and choose the pasting option “Keep source formatting” (1st icon from the left).
If part of the signature disappears above the upper edge of the window after inserting, click on “OK” and then reopen the signature window to visualize the entire signature.
10. Change the information highlighted in yellow for yours.
If you don’t have a mobile or fixed phone, delete the information in the corresponding line.
Make sure that your name in blue is Aptos font size 14 and that the remaining information is Aptos font size 11.
11. After editing the signature, click on “Save”.
12. Under “New messages,” select the signature you just created.
Click “OK”.
Your signature should now be properly added to your Outlook profile. To confirm, open a new email to check if the signature appears automatically.
You can also manually add it by using the “Signature” button in the “Message” panel.
